Custom shower pans, nice DIY project! How'd it turn out?

Absolutely in awe of your genius shower/loo/nook solution! Even though it's convertible I reckon you have to sort out the airflow situation inside the waterproof space. Speaking from experience: I accidentally left the air vent (in my house bathroom but still...) closed and I had pesky damp stains and very worrying mould looking patches appearing incredibly quickly! Very bad for your health and for your bild which you've done such an amazing job at! I'm far from a van bild expert but a Max Air fan or some similar thingy would be perfect, especially since you already have one. Good lyck guys!

I thik i would be inclined to put the towel rack on the outside, so it wouldn't be restricted to having the shower out. Having been in a wet climate, the drying of the shower takes a long time!

First time here. Really enjoyed the video, except the LOUD music. I turned it down, but then I had to turn it up to hear what you were saying. Spoiled it for me.

Maybe add a few small magnets to the shower curtain so it closes the gabs and no water can drip outside of the shower. love the idea of the shower.

The places where these cabins are - does someone own the land? Are you allowed in the states to just build a cabin where you like? You’d never get away with it here in the UK :) Really enjoying your travels.

I love the drone shotsa. Makes it all sp professional. I could live in one of those cabins easy! But Ive got yo say that most of that road I could do in my 37' Class A. But, it's not your average RV. Limited slip diff and 12K winches on both ends and huge skid plates covering all the tanks that dont react to dents well. It's built to be my base camp with my 4X4 towed as my reslly rocky stuff exploring. I gotta say that MB is set up right for you guys. Add a water purification system with a powered water pump for suction & plenty of hose so you can replenish from running rivers.

Did your pals give up making content? The last I saw on their channel they were doing the roof raise.

I have been to all of that. It is a neat place to see and camp out for a few days. Arizona is the best, in my opinion, because of the beautiful nature and sunset. I am glad you guys are enjoying it.

every thing looks great and well done. whats wrong with it, and why is it _NOT_ right? i mean, aside from needing reinforcement to secure the panels to the roof in addition to just adhesive/sealant? remember, there are other "common folk" out here that aren't as skilled of builders as you two, so you might have to "dumb it down" a little for us. lol! 😅😅😅

First collapsible shower i've seen that looks practical. The only thing I would say is could have also put the toilet on rails too so you can just push it out the way when need a shower without having to remove it.

Great video as always, we want to visit Arizona now ! With us, if we buddy up with another vehicle, we never leave them with even the smallest of troubles. Drive back to town with them then turn around when their safe and head back up trail.

If your friends have an m11/ism cummins, they tend to have head gasket problems because the intake and exhaust are both on the same side and there's only 3 head bolts on that side. Top end gasket set is ~$500 if they want to do it themselves. Otherwise it'll probably run ~$3-$4k at a shop depending. If the head is warped a reman is ~$2.5k. Also you gotta learn to make your own flour tortillas. You'll never buy them again. Definitely something you can accomplish in the kitchen space you have. 2 cups ap flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup water 3 tablespoons fat/oil of your choice Mix ingredients and let rest for 10 mins. Flatten to ~1mm, cook on med heat ~1 min each side. Makes 8.
